Biography

As a child, Geneva found herself escaping into the natural world. From the soft caresses of bear grass to the gurgling of the creek to bald eagles spotted overhead, she saw her neighborhood environment as an extension of home. A safe place to collect her thoughts.

Her parents both battled with their individual pains of life subsequently coping in obstructive ways. Once her mother finally made a shift for the better, the bursts of creativity began. Painting, drawing, collage, beadwork and crafting projects became a way of life. Geneva found when she focused deeply on a project, really enjoying the process, the outside world would fall away. It became another safe haven.

With studies in Fine Art, Graphic Design and Photography, Geneva has had many successful projects throughout her career and has recently dropped back into her familiar haven. The joy it brings to apply depth and light to a canvas has reawakened her love of painting. After a couple of small exhibitions amongst friends, she set her sites higher- to design and build a house. Geneva spent two years drawing, researching and designing everyday to finish her modern rustic home in Mexico. After such a huge success with plenty of challenges along the way, Geneva has now opened a small Art Studio and Gallery in the heart of downtown Fairfax, California. A new safe space.
